Euphrasia Mapulanga

Euphrasia leads strategic communication and stakeholder engagement for the Jobs Accelerator Project (JAP) under the Office of the Economic Advisor to the President of Zambia. Her work focuses on shaping programme narratives, strengthening public communication around economic reforms, and translating technical outputs into clear, actionable messaging that supports reform uptake, stakeholder alignment, and programme visibility.

Since joining JAP, she has led the design and implementation of the programme’s strategic communication approach, advising on communication risks and positioning in sensitive policy contexts and supporting engagement across government, development partners, and technical teams to strengthen coordination and promote understanding of reform priorities and results.

Euphrasia brings over two decades of experience across media, health communication, knowledge management, and socio-economic policy engagement. She has held senior roles including Director of Knowledge Management and Communication at the USAID Zambia Accessible Markets for Health Project, Knowledge Manager at ZIPAR, Information Officer at CHAZ, Senior Producer at Multimedia Zambia, and Head of Production and News Editor at Radio Maria Zambia. Her work has consistently focused on strengthening the accessibility, visibility, and policy influence of research and development programming.
