Dan Corry
(ROLE TITLE)
Dan Corry provides senior counsel to the JAP team, supporting high-level insights across various areas to ensure their analysis remains sharp and rigorous. Currently his assistance spans e-voucher, small and medium firm policy, job tracking and labour market issues.
Previously, Dan’s work with JAP has included supporting the team’s work on the development of the Sustainable Agriculture Financing Facility (SAFF) agricultural loans scheme with the Ministry of Agriculture, on public private partnerships through the Private-Public Dialogue Forum (PPDF) and Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) and on energy policy with a range of stakeholders including ZESCO and the Presidential Delivery Unit (PDU).
Alongside his work with JAP, Dan is currently Chief Economist for the Future Governance Forum think tank in the UK, and is a non executive director at the UK Department for the Environment and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
Dan has worked at the top levels in the UK government as an economic and policy expert including as Senior Economic Adviser to Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
